CLEVELAND, Miss. -- The Delta State University men's soccer team fell to Spring Hill College in the final home game of the season. The Badgers scored a pair of early goals and never looked back.
Before the game, the Statesmen honored six Statesmen senior players on senior day:
Mattis Kloepper,
Joe Elliott,
Tom Toulson,
Mathis Hardy, Odin Johannsson, and
Remi Emeriau.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Spring Hill got on the board early. In the fourth minute, Matthew Moreno benefited from a couple of deflections and put one into the back of the net
- The Badgers second goal came in the 17th minute on a shot by Paolo Hortian.
- Clair Cox IV and Tom Toulson each had shots in the next couple of minutes, but the Statesmen could not find a goal.
- In the 62nd minute, Brogan Horniman got a goal off of a couple of quick passes to make it 3-0.
- The fourth and final goal came in the 76th minute with Hortian's second.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- DSU had four shots to SHC's 14. Spring Hill had five shots on goal to Delta State's two.
