CLEVELAND, Miss. – Delta State University head football coach Todd Cooley announced the 2021 spring football practice scheduled on Monday, March 1, 2021.  
 
The Statesmen open the first of 15 spring practices on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 3:15 pm. They also practice on Thursday, March 4 at 3:15 p.m. and Saturday, March 6 at 3:15 p.m. inside Parker Field-McCool Stadium. The complete spring football practice schedule is below.
 
Delta State will hold two scrimmages, with one on Saturday, March 20 at 9:30 a.m. before concluding spring drills on Thursday, April 8 at 7 p.m.
 
Cooley also announced that the eighth annual #DSUFamily Golf Scramble and Draw Down will be played on Friday, April 30th at the Cleveland Country Club.
 
The tournament is a four-person scramble that includes dinner for $100 per player. The scramble starts at 1:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 5:45 p.m., and the Draw Down at 7 p.m. 
 
Draw Down tickets are $50 per ticket and are also available to supporters who are not playing in the tournament.
