HOW IT HAPPENED
- Binate Habib broke a scoreless tie in the sixth minute with an unassisted goal.
- Habib made the score 2-0 just over two minutes later off a pass from Jacob Daffern.
- Odin Johansson assisted an Eldi Seiti goal to give the Statesmen life in the 83rd minute to make the score 2-1.
- Seiti had a shot go wide in the 89th minute to represent the Statesmen's final shot of the contest.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- CBU outshot the Statesmen 14-6 including 8-2 in the first half.
- Mattis Kloepper recorded six saves in goal for the Statesmen.
- Seiti led DSU with two shots and one shot on goal.
- Habib had six shot attempts, four on goal, and two goals to pace the CBU attack.
