Lady Statesman Victorious at Valdosta State

VALDOSTA, GA – Delta State University Women's Soccer (8-5 overall, 5-3 GSC) trailed 2-0, but reels off five straight goals in their 5-2 victory over Valdosta State (3-5-1, 2-4) on Sunday. The game featured a hat-trick by Delta State's Rylee McGee with goals at the 34:41, 37:02, and 67:02 marks.
 
McGee was also joined by Jae'lasha Julien on the score sheet twice at the 27:41 and 57:28 marks. The two teams matched each other in shots on goal at 8 a piece, with a slight edge in total goals going to the Blazers at 12-9.
 
Delta State goal keeper Bailey Daugherty made six saves in her 90 minutes of work..
