JACKSON, Tenn. -- The Delta State University women's basketball team dropped a 60-47 contest to No. 10 Union (Tenn.) University on Thursday evening. Union outscored DSU 18-7 in the third quarter after the Lady Statesmen led 31-30 at the break.
Jaelencia Williams dominated the second half for Union scoring 18 points.
Zyaire Ewing had 12 points and 11 rebounds for her tenth double-double of the season.

STATS OF THE GAME:
- Delta State was 18-for-53 from the field for 34 percent. The Lady Bulldogs were 23-for-55 in the game.
- DSU held Union to just two three point shots in the second half.
- Union out-rebounded DSU 37-33 in the game which is just the third time all season the Lady Statesmen have been out-rebounded.
- Ke'Vonshaye Stackhouse was the only other scorer in double figures for DSU with 11 points.
- Delta State held Union to their second lowest scoring total of the season. The lowest was 55 points in their loss to Drury University.
- DSU was 5-for-23 from the field in the second half.
