Landon Zizmann as the Delta State University baseball team grabbed a 12-3 win over Lee University on Saturday at Harvey Stadium-Ferriss Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lee grabbed a 2-0 lead in the top of the first on a Dylan Standifer RBI single, and an RBI ground out by Luke Hughes.
- The Statesmen knotted the game 2-2 in the second. Blayke Dendy singled and scored on a Jake Barlow single, and Barlow later came home on a Kade Dees single.
- The Statesmen broke the tie with a two-run fourth. Wyatt Pratt singled and scored when Ragland drew a bases-loaded walk and Hayden Cooper walked and scored on a Hayden White ground out.
- Lee plated a run in the fifth to trim the DSU lead to 4-3.
- The Statesmen tacked on five runs in the sixth and three in the seventh to increase the advantage to 12-3.
- Jake Barlow's two-run double and a Pratt two-RBI single highlighted a five-run sixth to give the Statesmen a 9-3 advantage.
- Blayke Dendy doubled in a run, and DSU added two more runs on two Lee errors in the seventh.
ON THE MOUND
- Landon Zizmann (4-0) work 7.0 strong innings, posting seven strikeouts while yielding three runs on seven hits to earn the win.
- Charles Darnall allowed one hit with three strikeouts over 2.0 scoreless relief innings.
- Cameron Land (2-1) gave up five runs on eight hits with three strikeouts and three walks to take the loss for the Flames.

- The Statesmen ran their winning streak to eight games and their GSC win streak now stands at six.
- Pratt finished the day 4-for-5 with two RBI, and Caron Clowers was 4-for-5 with two runs scored to highlight a 15-hit attack.
- Barlow was 2-for-5 with two runs scored, a double, and three RBI.
- Dendy had a pair of hits, including a double, and Dees finished with two singles.
- Barlow's three RBI move his career RBI total to 148, which is 17 RBI away from moving into DSU's career top 10 list.
