CLEVELAND, Miss. -- Delta State University head football coach Todd Cooley announced that the start of spring football practice has shifted back to Wednesday due to rain in the Cleveland area.

"We are excited and ready to get started but the weather did not allow us to start on Tuesday as originally scheduled," Cooley said. "We hope to see plenty of #DSUFamily members at practices and scrimmages as we march toward the 2022 football season."

The Statesmen have a pair of Green and White scrimmages scheduled, the first of which is Saturday, April 2 at 9:30 a.m. The second is set to be Saturday, April 9 at 9:30 a.m. as well.
