CARROLLTON, Ga. -- Delta State trailed by one at the half, but ultimately fell on the road to the West Georgia Wolves in the DSU season finale. Delta State ends the season 7-20 overall with a 6-18 record in GSC play.
Maalik Cartwright led the Statesman in scoring with 16 points to go with 4 rebounds and 2 assists. He was also the only Statesmen to attempt a free throw in the game.
Kelen Dietrich and Caleb Allen were the only other Statesmen to reach double figures with 13 points each. Both players hit 3 three-pointers apiece with 10 rebounds and 2 assists between the two.
