Montgomery, Ala.  -- The Delta State University softball team traveled to Montgomery, Alabama for a doubleheader matchup with the Warhawks of Auburn University Montgomery. In game one of the series, Lacey Coats drew the start on the mound. Coats pitched 3.1 innings with two strikeouts. Lacey Coats also drew the start for the second game of the doubleheader. Coats pitched 6 innings with three strikeouts in the game. MyCala Helms would drive in Raegan Stafford to score the first run for the Lady Statesmen. Helms would single in the sixth inning and Stafford would score on a throwing error by the AUM catcher.
