NEW YORK, N.Y. – Delta State University senior offensive lineman
Jaelon Brown was named Second Team AP All-American as an Offensive Guard.
Brown was a key factor in the Statesmen Offense starting all 10 games at Left Guard for the Green and White. In the 2024 season, Brown helped boost the Delta State Offense that gained 417.3 total yards per game.
The Montgomery, Ala., native played in 39 games throughout his career at Delta State. In his four years in Cleveland, the Statesmen offense has rushed for 10,151 yards and had a record of 32-14 at Delta State.
Brown is the first Offensive Lineman to get All-American honors since Nicolas Meslop earned AFCA second team All-American honors in the 2022 season.
Brown was also a nominee for the Gene Upshaw Award in Super Region II, the Gene Upshaw Award is for the best Offensive of Defensive Lineman in the nation.
