CLEVELAND, Miss. – Over 40 current and former student-athletes were recognized at Delta State University's Fall Commencement on Friday, Dec. 13.
Dana George, Senior Executive Associate A.D. for Compliance, Academics, and Internal Operations/SWA, commends past and present student-athletes for their hard work. "Celebrating these graduates underscores our emphasis on the student-athlete balance. We are so proud of our Statesmen and Lady Statesmen for working diligently in the classroom and in their sports. We're sure their time as student-athletes at Delta State will serve them well in their next chapters."

Taylon Doss (football) | Shannon, Miss.
Taylon plans to finish his collegiate football career in the fall while pursuing a second master's degree.
Brett Burrell (baseball) | Cleveland, Miss.
Brett plans to finish his collegiate baseball career in the spring while starting a Master of Business Administration.
Tyler Goad (men's soccer) | Tupelo, Miss.
Tyler plans to pursue a job in the finance industry.
Kennedy McAdams (cheer) | Walls, Miss.
Kennedy plans to pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy and become a physical therapist.
Dakiya Toney (women's basketball) | Lake Village, Ark.
Dakiya plans to finish her collegiate basketball career in the spring while pursuing a master's degree.
