Cleveland, Miss. – The Delta State University Men's Basketball team hosted Mississippi College for a home GSC matchup on Wednesday night. The Choctaws scored 32 points in the first half while Delta State had an offensive explosion, scoring 43 points. Delta State shot 59.3 percent in the half, while hitting 7 three-pointers. The Green and White shot 53.6 percent in the second half compared to Mississippi College's 60 percent. The Choctaw's made the most of their shooting advantage, outscoring the Statesmen 36-35 in the second half, but it would not be enough to take the lead. The Statesmen would win over Mississippi College 78-68.
