CLEVELAND, Miss. – Delta State Women's Soccer welcomes Chloe Kane as the next head coach of the Lady Statesmen.
Kane comes to Delta State after a stint as Assistant Coach at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Along with player development, she was a part of the administrative areas of team management, recruiting, video scouting, and travel coordination.
"I am optimistic regarding the leadership Chloe can bring to our women's soccer program," said Director of Athletics Mike Kinnison. "Throughout the interview process, she impressed us with her vision, organizational and communication skills, and her commitment to success in her coaching career. She has been in good programs and worked with quality coaches who have been positive influences."
Kane is a native of Morecambe, England. Before joining the UAB staff, she earned a Master's Degree in Exercise and Sports Studies at Smith College in Northampton, Mass., in May 2023 where she served as a graduate assistant, training fielders and keepers while also assisting with recruiting.
She graduated from Holy Cross College in Notre Dame, Ind., in 2021, earning a Bachelor's in Business Administration while playing goalkeeper for the women's soccer team.
Kane also earned an Associate's Degree in Sports Management in 2019 from Ancilla College in Plymouth, Ind., where she was captain of the women's soccer team.
