CLEVELAND, Miss. – Delta State University Director of Athletics Mike Kinnison has announced the hiring of Altman Biggs as the school's head strength and conditioning coach.

Biggs joins the #DSUfamily after spending the 2023-24 season as the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Alcorn State University.
As a Brave, Biggs supervised and coached student athletes on proper technique of exercises, assisted in the development of training programs for student athletes, and traveled with the football team while providing recovery and rehab sessions.
Before his time in Lorman, Biggs spent several years in Starkville at Mississippi State University where he has served as an intern for the men's and women's basketball programs along with the football program from 2019-2023.
"Altman comes to our Athletic Department with strong recommendations and experience in university level Strength and Conditioning." Athletic Director Mike Kinnison said, "We feel he has the work ethic, knowledge, and personal communication skills to enhance our student athletes physically and mentally."
Biggs earned his master's in kinesiology, exercise physiology in May of 2023 from Mississippi State, which is where Biggs earned his bachelor's in Kinesiology, Performance Fitness.
