CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Delta State University Men's Basketball Team (6-10, 2-8 GSC) are back on Lloyd Clark Court at Walter Sillers Coliseum tomorrow afternoon as they host the Choctaws from Mississippi College (6-10, 2-8 GSC) at 4:00 p.m., (CDT).

Michael Gross will have the call on the Statesmen Sports Network and on Flo College.
This will mark the 102
nd battle between the Statesmen and the Choctaws. Delta State holds a 64-36-1 overall record against MC and is currently on a two-game winning streak.
Scouting the Statesmen
- The Statesmen enter this weekend on five days of rest with a 6-10 overall record and are 2-8 in GSC play. The Statesmen are currently on a six-game losing streak after going 0-2 in their road trip last week against Trevecca Nazarene and Lee.
- Delta State is led by two of the top three scorers in the Gulf South Conference in Chris Terrell and Keithean Brooks. Brooks averaged 25.5 points per game in the two-game road trip last weekend in Tennessee. Against TNU, Brooks scored a season high 30 points, knocking down 10 field goals while battling foul trouble.
- Terrell continues to tower above everyone in the nation in the steals category as he has 63 steals this season. Terrell is the leading scorer for DSU as he averages 21.1 points per game. The Horn Lake native also averages 3.6 assists per game.
Scouting the Choctaws
- Just like the Statesmen Mississippi College enters this weekend on a six-game losing streak with a 6-10 overall record and a 2-8 GSC conference record. The Choctaws have struggled on the road as they are 1-6 so far this season away from Clinton.
- The Choctaws are led by division one transfer Rashad Bolden. The Jackson native leads all scorers, averaging 24.4 points per game in 10 games played this season. In the last two games, Bolden averaged 22.5 points per game including a 31-point performance against Trevecca Nazarene Monday night.
- Senior guard Tyshun Briscoe has been getting on the board as well for the Blue and Gold. The Augusta, Ga., native has averaged 15.3 points per game in MC's last three games. Briscoe averages 10.9 points per game while shooting 40.5% from the field.
