MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Delta State University Men's Tennis team earned a clean sheet in their 7-0 victory against the Magicians of LeMoyne-Owen College Monday afternoon in Memphis.
 
In doubles action, the Statesmen earned a point winning all three match ups. The doubles teams of Hector Ortiz and Sebastian Hernandez and Harry Browning and Andrej Komenic both won 6-0 in their prospective matches. The doubles team of Jacob Lubbe and Tom Rance defeated their opponents 6-1.
 
In action, Ortiz and Rance would win in shutout fashion, defeating their opponents 6-0, 6-0. Hernandez picked up a win in no. 2 singles action (6-0, 6-1). In no. 3 singles Komenic won (6-0, 6-2).
 
Browning and Lubbe would only give up a combined two points in singles competition. Browning won (6-1, 6-0), while Lubbe won (6-0, 6-1)
 
The Statesmen will hit the road this weekend to Tyler, Texas, where they will take on three opponents in the Lone Star Conference. The Statesmen and Lady Statesmen will play Saturday, Sunday, and Monday at 11:00 a.m. (CDT).
