TYLER, Texas – The Delta State University Men's Tennis team (1-1, 0-0 GSC) fell to the Chapparals from Lubbock Christian University (5-1, 0-0 GSC) Saturday afternoon at Summers Tennis Center at the University of Texas at Tyler.
The Statesmen doubles team of
Hector Ortiz and
Sebastian Hernandez won the #1 Doubles match 4-3.
Ortiz battled in the number one singles, but fell (6-3, 6-2).
The Statesmen will continue this weekend in the Lone Star State as they will battle the University of Texas Permian Basin tomorrow at 11 a.m. (CDT).
