TYLER, Texas – The Delta State University Men's Tennis team (1-2, 0-0 GSC) fell to the 23
rd ranked Falcons from the University of Texas Permian Basin (3-1, 0-0 LSC) Sunday afternoon at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas.
Harry Browning played well for the Statesmen as he was a part of the number two doubles team with
Andrej Komnenic were up 5-2 once UTPB clinched the doubles point.
Despite losing the first set 6-0,
Hector Ortiz battled back to force a third set where he was tied in the no 1 singles match.
The Statesmen finish their trip to Texas tomorrow as they take on the Patriots from the University of Texas at Tyler.
