PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Delta State University Women's Tennis Team (0-10, 0-3 GSC) fell to the Bobcats from Georgia College & State University (9-2,1-0 PBC) 4-2 Saturday morning in the Ralph Skeeter Carson Complex in Pensacola.
 
The Lady Statesmen got on the board in singles action as Elena Palioura defeated Chiara Santoro in the no. 1 singles match (7-5, 6-2).
 
Following that, Maria Caride defeated Jada Young in a three-set thriller no. 2 singles match (6-2, 2-6, 6-1).
 
The Lady Statesmen continue GSC play this upcoming Thursday as they travel to Montevallo, Ala., to take on the Falcons from the University of Montevallo at 1:00 p.m. (CDT).
