Lancaster, Pa. – The Delta State University Football Team (1-0, 0-0 GSC) entered the D2football.com poll as the 24^th ranked team this week after their 31-23 win over the Central Missouri Mules last Thursday in McCool Stadium.
 
Last time Delta State was ranked in the D2Football.com Poll was last season on October 7^th when they were ranked 25^th.
 
The Statesmen look to improve their ranking and improve to 2-0 as they will host the Trailblazers from North Greenville for the 40^th Annual Pig Pickin' Game Saturday, Sept. 6 at 6:00 p.m. (CDT) at Parker Field at McCool Stadium.
