CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Delta State University Football Team (2-0, 0-0 GSC) climbed up in the D2football.com poll and the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) both announced earlier this morning.
 
The Statesmen climbed up six spots to no. 16 in the AFCA poll, while also climbing up five spots to No. 19 in the D2football.com poll after defeating North Greenville 41-9 this past Saturday.
 
Delta State will hit the road this weekend as they will travel to North Carolina to take on the Braves from the University of North Carolina-Pembroke. Saturday's kickoff will be at 12:00 p.m. (CDT)/1:00 p.m. (EST).
