CLEVELAND, Miss. – The spring sports schedules have been announced for the five spring sports teams.
Baseball
Statesmen baseball begins the 2026 season with a home series against Harding University the weekend of Jan. 30-31. The non-conference midweek schedule includes home games against Southern Arkansas (Feb. 10), Arkansas-Monticello (Feb. 17 & April 7), and Henderson State (March 31).
The home conference schedule features series with West Florida (Feb. 27-28), Christian Brothers (March 6-7), West Alabama (March 20-21), Montevallo (April 3-4), and Mississippi College (April 24-25). All games will be played at Harvey Stadium-Ferriss Field.
Away games include Harding (Feb. 3 & April 21), Spring Hill (Feb. 6-7), Lee (Feb. 13-14), Union (Feb, 20-21), Ouachita Baptist (Feb. 24), Henderson State (March 3), Arkansas-Monticello (March 10), Valdosta (March 13-14), Arkansas Tech (March 17), Southern Arkansas (March 24), UAH (March 27-28), Trevecca Nazarene (April 10-11), and Auburn Montgomery (April 17-18).
Softball
The Lady Statesmen open the 2026 season at the Gulf Shores Invitational where they are scheduled to play six games from Jan. 30-Feb. 1. The non-conference midweek schedule features home contests with Lane (Feb. 18), Henderson State (March 4), Arkansas Tech (March 10), and LeMoyne-Owen (March 18).
Home conference play opens against West Florida the weekend of Feb. 27-28. The remaining home conference series include Christian Brothers (March 7-8), West Alabama (March 21-22), Montevallo (April 2-3), and Mississippi College (April 24-25). All games will be played at University Field.
Away games include Spring Hill (Feb. 7), LeMoyne-Owen (Feb. 10), Union (Feb. 20-21), Valdosta (March 14-15), UAH (March 27-28), Trevecca Nazarene (April 10-11), Auburn-Montgomery (April 17-18), and Lee (May 1-2).
Men's and Women's Tennis
The home schedule for Statesmen and Lady Statesmen tennis features matches with Lee (Feb. 21), Harding (March 27), Montevallo (April 10), and West Alabama (April 13). The Lady Statesmen will host Tennessee State on Saturday, Jan. 24 to open the season. All matches will be played at Cleveland Country Club.
The away slate includes matches against UT Dallas (Feb. 12), Southern Arkansas (March 1), West Florida (March 10), Mississippi College (March 17), Auburn Montgomery (March 20), Tuskegee (March 21), Christian Brothers (March 24), and Jackson State (April 7).
Eight neutral site matches round out the schedule for Delta State Tennis, including matches against Arkansas-Fort Smith (Feb. 1), Western New Mexico (Feb. 13), Southeastern Oklahoma State (Feb. 14), Texas Permian Basin (Feb. 15), Spring Hill (Feb. 18), Southwest Baptist (Feb. 28), Lynn (March 6), and Valdosta (March 8). The Gulf South Conference Tournament will take place in Tuscaloosa, Ala., April 23-25.
Golf
Statesmen golf will compete in four regular season tournaments in the spring 2026 season, including the Saint Leo Invitational in Dade City, Fla. (Feb. 16-17), First Federal Southeastern Collegiate in Valdosta, Ga. (March 9-10), Arkansas Collegiate in El Dorado, Ark. (March 23-24), and the Music City Invitational in Old Hickory, Tenn. (March 30-31). The Gulf South Conference Tournament will take place in Dickson, Tenn., April 20-22.
