CLEVELAND, Miss. - The Delta State University Men's Basketball Team (7-10, 4-8 GSC) are back in action this weekend for a two-game home stretch as they host the Warhawks from Auburn University at Montgomery and the Falcons from the University of Montevallo.
The Statesmen will host the Warhawks from AUM this afternoon for pajama night at 7:30 p.m. (CT) in Walter Sillers Coliseum. Then DSU will be at home this Saturday against Montevallo at 4:00 p.m. (CT).
The Voice of the Statesmen Michael Gross will have the call live on the Statesmen Sports Radio Network and on the FloCollege network for both contests.

In the past two weeks, the Statesmen had two solid performances from senior forward Je'Marion Westbrook. The Marianna, Ark., native scored a team-high 21 points last Thursday in Memphis. Against the Bucs, Westbrook shot a season high of 80% from the field.

With their top scorer in Chapelle Whitney being out since December, junior guard Marius Canery has been the workhorse for the AUM squad. The Lawrence, Mass., native is averaging 12.2 points per game and has 12 blocked shots on the season for the Warhawks.

Last week, freshman guard Bryant James earned both Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Week and Player of the Week with UM's wins over Trevecca Nazarene and Lee. The Florence, Ala., native averaged 23.0 points per game on a 64.0-percent shooting mark while 57.9 percent from deep and 75.0 percent from the line.
