Cleveland, Miss. - The Delta State University baseball team (26-17, 19-11 GSC) will play their last regular season weekend series this weekend against the Choctaws of Mississippi College (26-21, 19-11 GSC). The games will be played at Boo Ferriss Field in Cleveland.
The two teams are tied for third in the Gulf South Conference rankings, and this series will determine seeding for the GSC tournament for both teams. Game one will be played at 2:00 PM on Friday. Games two and three will be played on Saturday starting at 2:00 PM.
The Statesmen will be having Senior day festivities on Saturday before game one.

Tucker Jones looks to stay hot and end his first regular season as a Statesmen on a good note. He is leading the Statesmen with a .363 batting average, 57 RBIs, 10 doubles, nine homeruns, and 29 stolen bases.

Levi Lang provided a spark in the Statesmen sweep against AUM last weekend. In the double header, Lang went 6-for-9 with three home runs and eight RBIs, leading an explosive Statesmen offense that scored 25 runs on the day.
