2008-2009: Started in 18 of the 29 games he appeared in for the Statesmen…averaged 4.2 points and 2.6 rebounds…Blocked 13 shots during the season, which tied him with David Clark among returning DSU players…Poured in a season-best 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting in Delta State’s 93-66 win over Southern Arkansas (2/19/09)…Blocked three shots against Harding (2/26/09), the most by any Statesman in a single game last season…Was named to the Gulf South Conference’s Academic Honor Roll.

GULF COAST CC: Played two seasons at Gulf Coast CC college under head coach Jay Powell…Took part in 30 games with 29 starts as a sophomore averaging 5.9 points and leading the team with 208 rebounds on the season (6.9).
