2009-10: OUTLOOK: Spencer returns for his senior campaign after a stellar junior season...Currently 10th in DSU history with 59 made 3-point baskets The 6-foot-5 guard from Marion, Ark., was one of the top scorers for the Statesmen a year ago and brings a tenacity to the off-guard spot seldom seen in the GSC.

2008-2009: Played in 29 games, making four starts…Provided a spark off the bench for the Statesmen, averaging 12.1 points per game, which ranked third on the team…Led the team in 3-point percentage, draining 40 percent (42-of-104) on the season…Scored in double-figures in 23 of Delta State’s 29 games…Netted 26 points on 9-of-11 shooting (including 8-of-10 from 3-point range) in the Statesmen’s 80-67 win over West Florida (1/5/09)…Was named to All-GSC West Division Second Team and the GSC Academic Honor Roll.

2007-08 SOPHOMORE: Earned 17 starts in 26 games last season…Finished third on the team, averaging 10.8 points per game...One of the top rebounding guards in the GSC, Spencer pulled down 4.5 rebounds per game as well for the Statesmen…Led the team in scoring eight times, including a season-high 24 in a win over West Georgia (11/26/07)…Shot 72.3 percent (60-of-83) from the free throw line…Season-high 10 rebounds in a win over West Alabama (1/5/08)...GSC Academic Honor Roll recipient.

UA-FORT SMITH CC: Played one season for the defending NJCAA champions at Arkansas-Fort Smith...Named NJCAA Academic All-American.

PREP: Three year starter under Coach Irving Clay at Marion HS...Named All-Conference, All-District, All-Area, and All-State multiple times... Member of All-Tournament team at state tournament... Class Salutatorian with a 4.0 GPA.
