Biography
2018-2019 (JUNIOR): Did not see action as a junior...Helped guide the Statesmen to the 2018-2019 Gulf South Conference championship and a berth in the NCAA Division II South Region Tournament...Delta State claimed its seventh GSC title with a 64-60 victory over Alabama Huntsville in the title game.
2017-18 (SOPHOMORE): Played in five games for the Statesmen…helped DSU to a runner-up finish in the Gulf South Conference tournament...averaged 1.2 rebound per game…made his only field goal of the season, a dunk at West Georgia (12.18.17), to tally his first career points for DSU.
2016-17 (RS FRESHMAN): Did not see any action as a freshman.
2015-16 (FRESHMAN): Sat out the season with a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played basketball under Coach John Price at Faith Academy…shot 47 percent from the field and brought down 173 rebounds as a senior for an average of 5.6 rebounds per game…selected to the 2014 USA Junior National Team and was selected as most improved player…won 88 of 110 games in his career…received the Christian Award.
PERSONAL: Bien Harbin, Jr….born November 30, 1996…son of Bien Harbin, Sr. and Kristi Harbin…has two brothers (Jared and Kristopher) and one sister (Brooke)…majoring in computer information systems.
