2017-18 (SENIOR): Played in 30 games and made a pair of starts for the Green-and-White…Helped Delta State to a runner-up finish in the Gulf South Conference tournament...Averaged 1.1 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game…Ended the season shooting 68 percent (13-for-19) from the free throw line...Dished out a career-high 10 assists in just 20 minutes against Central Baptist (11.14.17), becoming the first player totally double-digit assists since Devin Schmidt in 2015.

2016-17 (JUNIOR): Did not see any action as a junior.

COAHOMA CC: Played two seasons for the Tigers under head coach Ira Peterson...Named Newcomer of the Year in 2014...Was named Second Team All-North State in 2015 and was selected to the MJCAA North All Star team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Lee Academy under head coach Robert Daniels...Named First Team MAIS 3A All-Conference in 2012...Also played in the 2013 MAIS All Star Game.

PERSONAL: Cameron Monix...Son of Danielle Jones and Cameron Monix Sr....Has one brother, Dedrick Gates and a sister, Arveon Jones...Major is sports management.
