Brittany White

Brittany White enters her second season with the Delta State women’s basketball program as a graduate assistant under Head Coach Craig Roden. White comes to Delta State after playing college basketball at Southern Polytechnic State University and Augusta State University. White graduated from Augusta State University with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a concentration in exercise and sports science.

While at Southern Polytechnic, an NAIA Division I program, White was a two-year starter. She was named to the all-freshmen team, all-academic team, and all-tournament team. White was also a member of the SSAC Tournament championship team for the two years she attended Southern Polytechnic. She also contributed to two NCAA National Tournament appearances, including a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2010.

White completed her collegiate basketball career at Augusta State University, an NCAA Division II school, now known as Georgia Regents University. Her junior and senior seasons at Augusta State saw White being named team captain both years. She contributed to the team’s best regular season record in school history of 21-5. White helped Augusta to a sixth place national ranking for scoring defense, holding teams to an average of 53.8 points per game. She also received a personal fourth place national ranking for steals per game with 3.85. White was also first in the conference in steals per game.

White has a lot of coaching experience as well. She took on a 90-hour internship with Dip Metris, head men's basketball coach at Augusta State. White also coached a summer AAU team for four years, instructed at Southern Polytechnic’s basketball camp, and completed a 450-hour internship at Downtown Augusta YMCA where she instructed girls on the fundamentals of basketball.
