Amine Rahmani, a senior on the Delta State University men's soccer team, has been named the GoStatesmen.com Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sunday, Sept. 28. It's Rahmani's first honor of the season.
The Vénissieux, France native scored one goal in Delta State's 2-1 overtime loss the past Sunday at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. During DSU's recent three-game win streak, Rahmani totaled one goal and handed out two assists to help propel the Statesmen.
In seven games, Rahmani has scored three goals and delivered two assists for the Statesmen (3-4).
