Taylor Hollad, a senior infielder on the Lady Statesmen softball team, is the final CableOne/GoStatesmen.com Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the 2014-2015 academic year. The standout for the Lady Statesmen was named the 2015 recipient of the Charles S. Kerg Senior Female Student-Athlete of the Year at Delta State's annual awards presentation.
Holland is a two-time All-Gulf South Conference first baseman for Lady Statesmen softball. The senior from Grenada, Mississippi is a biology major and carries a 3.76 GPA. During her four-year career, Holland is a three-time GSC Academic Honor Roll selection, while establishing a school career record for walks.

She is President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. Ever active on campus, Holland is a member of several national honor societies, including Beta Beta Beta, Alpha Epsilon Delta, Phi Kappa Phi and Omicron Delta Kappa.

The hard-hitting infielder was named to the Delta State Student Hall of Fame earlier this year, and in November was crowned Homecoming Queen during DSU's 27-3 victory over Mississippi College.
