Matteo Fraschi, a junior on the Delta State Men's Swimming & Diving team, captures his first CableONE GoStatesmen.com Male Student-Athlete of the Week award after leading the Statesmen to a dominating victory over Ouachita Baptist University this past Saturday, Jan. 9 at the DSU Aquatics Center.

Fraschi swam the 200-Breastroke in 2:06.09 to clinch first overall and he also won the 200-Individual Medley. The Scandicci, Florence, Italy, native also helped the Statesmen claim the win in the 400-Medley Relay with a time of 3:28.33.
