Casey helped the Statesmen to a 4-0 week that included a sweep of GSC leader North Alabama and a regional win over Henderson State. Casey hit .625 (10-for-16) with two doubles, two home runs, seven RBI and seven runs scored in four games.  Casey also slugged 1.125 and had a .667 on base percentage. The Melbourne, Fla., native hit .667 with two doubles, a home run and four RBIs while slugging .1083 with a .692 on base percentage in the UNA series. The junior was instrumental in the Statesmen rally from a 12-3 deficit to beat Henderson State 15-13 on Tuesday. His two-run home run in the seventh cut the HSU lead to 12-11 and his RBI single during a four-run eighth gave DSU a 15-12 lead. Casey hit a two-run home run in game two against UNA to give DSU a 9-6 lead and his RBI double in the fifth extended the lead to 15-9 lead en route to the 18-10 win.
