This week’s CableOne GoStatesmen.com Female Athlete of the Week is Jasmine McGill.

The freshman from Memphis had her second multi-goal game of the year last Thursday against Spring Hill, finding the net twice to lead Delta State to a 3-1 victory.  McGill now ranks sixth in school history for goals scored in a single season.  

The Lady Statesmen’s three conference wins mark their most since the 2008 season.  

The team next travels to Jackson, Mississippi, for non-conference play against Millsaps College, before returning home this weekend to take on Auburn University-Montgomery and Montevallo.
