ARKADELPHIA, Ark.- Head softball coaches Beth Jackson of Henderson State, and Casey Bourgoyne-Charles of Delta State announced that Friday's softball doubleheader has been moved forward to 12 p.m. due to the threat of inclement weather.

Thunderstorms are scheduled to arrive in the Arkadelphia area early Friday evening.

The Lady Statesmen swept the opening two games 3-0 and 7-1 on Thursday.

DSU is now in second place in the Gulf South Conference West Division.

The games will be carried live on the Lady Statesmen Sports Network.
