MONTGOMERY, Ala.-The Delta State University Lady Statesmen and Statesmen took a pair of road losses at Faulkner University on Wednesday.

The Lady Statesmen (1-3) lost their third game by one goal. The loss also marked the second time this season the Lady Statesmen were defeated in the final :30 seconds of the game.

The Statesmen (0-4) fell 3-1 after allowing an early goal in the second match.

The Statesmen and Lady Statesmen will play their second home matches of the season Sunday Sept. 12 at Delta Field.

The Lady Statesmen will take on Alcorn State at 1 p.m. and the Statesmen will take on Lambuth at 3 p.m.
