Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark.—The Statesmen soccer team went into Sunday afternoon's match with hopes of keeping their post-season chances alive. Those hopes turned dim as the Tigers used two first half goals en route to a 5-2 victory.

Eljay Allen. The goal at the 21:56 mark cut the Tiger lead to just one.
The match was still at 2-1 late in the first half when the Tigers struck again. Ceka added his second goal of the contest in the 41st minute on the Tigers' second penalty kick of the match.
The Statesmen hit a snag in the 54th minute of the match when Chamberlin was sent off with a red card. That meant the Statesmen had to play the rest of the match with just 10 on the field.
Down a man, and trailing by two goals in the second half, the Statesmen responded. Sophomore midfielder Daniel deBlaere scored off a free kick from Allen in the 62nd minute. The assist was the second of the match for Allen, and the goal once again made it a one-point game.
The Statesmen could not pull any closer, as the Tigers added two more goals before the final whistle. Josh Galante scored off a rebound. Sergiu Postolache took the shot before Galante scored, so he was credited with the assist. Taylor Heinsohn then put the game away with less than minute remaining when he scored. The goal secured the 5-2 win for Ouachita Baptist.
The referee booked four players during the match. Chamberlin will miss the next match due to his red card. The Statesmen were also given two yellows, and the Tigers one yellow during the match.
