Box Score Richland, Texas-- The Statesmen soccer team hit the road for a netural site match against Texas A&M International in Richland, Texas. The Statesmen entered the match with a four match win streak, but they fell to the Dustdevils 4-0 Thursday afternoon.

The Dustdevils (6-2-1), took a 2-0 lead in the first half, and never looked back.

The Statesmen (4-7), could not get back into the match, as they gave up two more goals in the final 15 minutes, and were defeated 4-0.

The Statesmen will now turn their attention to Gulf South play, as they will open up thier GSC slate with Alabama-Huntsville. The match is set for Friday, Oct. 14 at 2:30 p.m. The match will be available on the Statesmen Radio Network.
