Box Score SEARCY, Ark. - The Statesmen soccer team snapped a three game losing skid Tuesday night with a 1-1 draw at Harding University in a game the Statesmen were supposed to play at home but was moved after heavy rains over the last three days made field conditions unplayable at Delta Field.
Despite the quick bus trip over to Harding (4-5-2), Delta State (5-4-1) came out on the attack in the first 45 minutes of the match, outshooting Harding 5-1, while also producing two corner kicks.

Milos Boskovic stopped the only shot on the Statesmen goal in the first half.
The Statesmen got on the scoreboard first, when
Luke Mason scored his first goal of the season and first goal as a Statesman in the 42nd minute to give Delta State a 1-0 lead heading into halftime.
Sebastian Ridout picked up an assist on the play.
In the second half, Harding picked up the pressure and both teams combined for nine shots, five of them coming from the Bison.
In the 79th minute, Harding tied things up with a goal from Shea McGee.
The overtime periods went each teams way once. In the first overtime period, the Statesmen were on the defense as the Bison has three shots. The Delta State defense came up big as the team kept things tied at one goal apiece.
In the second overtime period, the Statesmen put four shots toward Harding's net, but were unable to find the back of the net.
The Statesmen outshot Harding 14-10 in the game, but only had four shots on target to the Bisons five.
Boskovic finished with three saves.
Joe Stockglausner and
Steven Simmons each picked up yellow cards in the match, but the defenders were also on the pitch for all 110 minutes.
The Statesmen will return to action Friday night at Christian Brothers for a conference match. Delta State will take on the Bucs at Signalgo Field with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff scheduled.
