New Orleans, La. – The No.41 ranked Delta State University men's tennis team(4-5, 3-0 GSC) split on the weekend falling to the University of New Orleans(6-2) 5-4 on Friday, March 9, and picking up a 9-0 dominating win against Loyola University (La.) (0-3) on Saturday, March 10.

The Statesmen dropped a tough 5-4 decision to the University of New Orleans on Friday, March 10. The green-and-white took the doubles matches 2-1 but dropped four out of the six singles matches in the loss.

Delta State bounced back with a dominating 9-0 win over Loyola University on Saturday, March 10. The Statesmen never conceded a match in singles or doubles play.

Tobias Rausch and Florian Mondoloni led the way for the Statesmen during the two days winning both their singles competitions and helping garner wins in the doubles matches.
