FLORENCE, Ala. – The nationally ranked No.41 Delta State University men's tennis team (3-4, 3-0 GSC) split two matches falling first to nationally ranked No. 19 Saint Leo University (7-4) 9-0 only to bounce back for a win against Gulf South Conference opponent the University of North Alabama(1-5, 1-1 GSC) to the tune of 6-3, in Florence, Ala.

The Statesmen failed to record a victory in the match over Saint Leo on March 3, falling 9-0.

The green and white bounced back on March 4, to pick up its third Gulf South Conference victory against the University of North Alabama on their home court. The Statesmen picked up 4-of-6 singles matches and 2-of-3 doubles competitions en route to a 6-3 victory over the Lions.
