The Green-and-White claimed both games by wide margins, winning the first game 90-54 and the second 64-37.

In the last meeting on Dec. 15, 2012 at Birthright Alumni Hall, Chadisty Hickman and Seneca Walton led Delta State with 11 points each, while Becca Ruckes followed close behind with 10 points.

The Lady Statesmen are coming off an 83-41 win over Selma University (Ala.) that saw five of the Green-and-White putting up double figures.

Walton clinched her third double-double in the first half alone, finishing the game with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while adding one assist.

Rhandi Ball added 14 points to the Lady Statesman win as she also recorded five boards, one steal and two assists.

Freshmen Alexis Ross and Anissa Jackson had standout nights as each Lady Statesman recorded career-highs. Ross went 5-of-9 from the field to total 10 points, contributing five rebounds and two assists. Jackson added 10 points of her own, with four rebounds and two assists.

Carly Keller and Kenisha Henry also gave career-high performances. Keller contributed a career-high seven assists, while Henry grabbed a career-high four rebounds.

Ball and Walton are both on the threshold of reaching career milestones in points and rebounds. Both Ball and Walton will reach 600 career points and 400 career rebounds over the next few games for the Lady Statesmen.
