CLEVELAND, Miss.- The Delta State University men's Tennis team fell 9-0  to the Gulf South Conference Rival Argonauts of the University of West Florida Saturday, february 16.

The Statesmen faught hard against the number two nationally ranked UWF as doubles play began. Statesmen Flovian Mondoloni and Guillaume Lacour fell in a close doubles one match 8-2.

Sebastian Rajaonary and Clement Depreeuw lost a tight mach in doubles three, 8-3.

Mondoloni started singles play for DSU with a tough 6-3, 6-2 defeat in singles one. Lacour faced a tough match in singles two falling 6-3, 6-2.

Sebastian Rajaonary came up a little short in singles six falling 6-4, 6-2.

The Statesmen return to the courts March 1 as they face Lindenwood University in Cleveland.
