CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Lady Statesmen softball team of Delta State University opens up the 2014 season this weekend in Arkadelphia, Ark., for a three-day tournament.

The Green-and-White are eager to hit the field at the earliest date possible for this season as they head to the Henderson State/Ouachita Baptist Invitational in Arkadelphia, Ark. The three-day tournament will be held at two different locations, on the campuses of Henderson State University and Ouachita Baptist University.

10:00 a.m. Delta State vs. Ouachita Baptist (at OBU)
2:00 p.m. Delta State vs. Tarleton State (at OBU)
Sunday, Feb. 2
10:00 a.m. Delta State vs. Henderson State (at HSU)
2:00 p.m. Delta State vs. Cameron (at OBU)
Monday, Feb. 3
10:00 a.m. Delta State vs. Lincoln University of Missouri (at OBU)

Delta State will hit the field again at the Alabama-Huntsville Charger Chillout the following weekend in Huntsville, Ala.
