CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Delta State University men's soccer team is scheduled to host its final non-conference match of the season when Cumberland University (Tenn.) visits Delta Field on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
 
ABOUT DSU:
 

• The Statesmen are 4-5, and have recorded victories in two straight matches, including a 3-0 victory over Ouachita Baptist in their last outing on Friday, Oct. 2.
• Senior Luke Mason leads the Green-and-White with three goals, while senior captain Daniel Deblaere leads the way with three assists.
• Senior Austin Jackman scored a career best two goals in the 4-2 victory over Harding on Sept. 29, while freshman Nicolas Garrido has scored goals in back-to-back matches, including his first career tally versus Harding.
• Jacob Hauenstein recorded his seconded career shutout of his career in the 3-0 victory over Ouachita Baptist. It was the first shutout for DSU since Oct. 26, 2014 in a 1-0 victory over Spring Hill.

ABOUT CUMBERLAND: 
 

• The Bulldogs enter the match 10-0, including a 4-0 mark on the road. Cumberland defeated Gulf South Conference member West Alabama 1-0 on Sept. 20.
• Cumberland has outscored its opponents 44-11.
• Brian McNamara leads the team with nine goals.  
• The Bulldogs, who are a member of the Mid-South Conference, are affiliates of the NAIA

INSIDE THE SERIES:  
 

• This marks the first meeting between the Statesmen and Cumberland.
