Statesmen Tennis Feel The Heat From Blazers; Fall 5-1

PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Delta State men's tennis team suffered their second straight loss, losing 5-1, to No. 10 Valdosta State University. The Statesmen now fall to 4-5 overall, and 2-3 in the Gulf South Conference. DSU's only victory of the match was in the form of doubles play, with Lionel Gazzo and Clement Depreeuw defeating Francisco Yim Kim and Joachim Schemm, 8-6.

The competition doesn't get any easier for the Green-and-White, as they will face 17th ranked Brigham Young University at Hawaii on Saturday, March 28th, and No. 2 University of West Florida on Sunday, March 29th.
