Lady Statesmen Comeback Falls Short Against Hawks

ROME, Ga. – Delta State University (11-2, 7-2 GSC) women's basketball rally from a 27-point halftime deficit came up short in a 63-60 Gulf South Conference loss to Shorter University (11-3, 8-2 GSC) on Monday at Winthrop-King Arena. Senior Chelsey Rhodes led the Lady Statesmen with 25 points and Becca Ruckes had 13 points and nine rebounds to lead the Lady Statesmen.
