CLEVELAND, Mississippi - In the final non-conference game of the season, the Lady Statesmen will travel to Fairfield, Alabama on Saturday to square off against the Miles College Golden Bears in the second leg of their season home-and-home series.

TIP-OFF NEWS AND NOTES
- This will be the 8th meeting all-time between Miles and Delta State, with The Lady Statesmen leading the series 7-0.
- Last time out against Miles, senior Kaelin Kneeland dropped a career high 22 points and also registered a career high 5 assists en route to leading Delta State to a 76-52 victory at Walter Sillers Coliseum. Senior Aspriona Gilbert added 16 points and 6 rebounds in that game, Alondrea Rush chipped in 13 points and junior Carly Keller knocked down a pair of three-point baskets en route to closing the night with eight points.
- The Lady Statesmen look to bounce back from a narrow five-point defeat on the road in their Gulf South Conference opener at Mississippi College at A.E. Wood Coliseum.
- Delta State has out-rebounded four of their five opponents on the year, with post players Kneeland and Gilbert leading the charge at 8.0 rebounds per game and 5.6 rebounds per game, respectively.
- Sophomore point guard Alondrea Rush has continued to be solid for Delta State in her second season, averaging 12.0 points per game, 1.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.8 steals per contest. She currently leads the team in scoring, assists per game, steals per game, three-point field goals made and minutes played and is tied for first in free throws made.
- Miles College enters Saturday's tilt coming off of a 78-75 victory over the University of Montevallo. Junior Ashley McCrear scored 14 points in 18 minutes of play. On the season, senior Larian Scott is the only player scoring in double figures for the Golden Bears, as she has tallied 10.3 points per game.

After their road game at Miles, DSU will travel to Shorter University and Lee University before the Christmas holiday. The Lady Statesmen will face off against Shorter on Thursday, Dec. 15th at 5 p.m. and then take on Lee on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 1 p.m.
