TIP-OFFLee, Shorter and Delta State are tied for second with 15-6 GSC records entering the final game of the regular season. DSU has secured a home game for GSC Super Tuesday against an opponent to be determined but can earn the second seed with a win over Mississippi College.
Lee's Haris Price made a layup with 0.2 seconds left to gave the Flames a 54-53 win over Delta State (2.20.16) on Saturday. Chelsey Rhodes had 16 points and a career-high six assists. Anissa Jackson scored 12 points and pulled down seven rebounds and Becca Ruckes had a team-high eight boards.
Rhodes scored 50 points in two games last week moved the senior into sixth place on the DSU all-time scoring list with 1,673 points, passing
Tanya Redmond (1,662/7th/1995-98) and Caroline Boclair (1,663/6th/1998-01) for sixth. The Monticello, Ark., native is 193-of-583 from 3-point range for her career, ranking second all-time in both categories.
