MOBILE, Ala. - Spring Hill college hit seven three-pointers and forced 21 turnovers to help secure a 51-45 victory over the Delta State University women's basketball team on Thursday night at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.

- After scoring nine first half points, Alondrea Rush was limited to just two in the second 20 minutes.
- The Lady Statesmen finished 9-of-25 (36 percent) from the floor in the first half, while Spring Hill was 10-of-25 (40 percent), including 5-of-9 from three-point range.
- Spring Hill was just 8-of-22 in the second half (36.4 percent) to finish 18-of-47 (38.3 percent), while holding DSU to 17-of-47 (36.2 percent)

INSIDE THE FLOW:
- Spring Hill raced out to a 16-6 lead in the opening quarter, but the Lady Statesmen responded with a 10-0 lead to make the score 20-19 after the opening quarter.
- The Lady Statesmen took the lead for the first time in the contest when Raven Johnson hit a pair of free throws to make it 21-20 with 9:23 left in the half.
- Jewell Hill 's two free throws with seven seconds left in the half gave the hosts a 31-26 lead after the opening 20 minutes.
- The Lady Statesmen won their only quarter of the contest, holding Spring Hill to just nine points (11-9) in the third period.
- Spring Hill forced four DSU turnovers in the fourth quarter to help keep the lead throughout the final 10 minutes.
NOTABLES:
- The Lady Statesmen forced a season-high 23 turnovers.
- DSU held the Badgers to just 38 percent from the floor, the lowest by an opponent in three games this season.
